University Collaboration Suite Group
The University Communications Services (UCS) group is responsible for running the Zimbra Collaboration Suite systems and service at Penn State. UCS provides E-mail, Calendaring, Contacts, Tasks, and a file storage Briefcase in easy to use web and desktop clients.
The UCS project was initiated to replace the old Oracle Calendaring system and is intended to be used by all Faculty and Staff at all Penn State campuses.
Phased migrations are projected to continue through 2015.
UCS staff are responsible for the implementation, service and support of servers used to run this service.
